High Country Hosts Party to Celebrate Successes

Friday, August 21st, 2009, marks the 2nd annual High Country Energy celebration bash at board member Dana Christie’s Stewartville residence, located at 10685 County Road 108 SW, and YOU’RE INVITED! This end of summer event recognizes High Country Energy’s 2nd anniversary, along with its development accomplishments.

From site control for its South Footprint, to a final stage interconnection request, there is a lot to celebrate about High Country Energy. Starting at 5pm, it’s an evening to get together with neighbors, enjoy some good food and share in fruitful conversation. All current and prospective members of High Country Energy are invited to partake in the festivities. High Country Energy’s founders and development team will also be present.

“This event is important because it is the only time of year where High Country Energy’s nearly 200 participating community members and investors are together,” says Tiff Thompson, wind developer for High Country Energy. “Project participation has grown immensely from last year and we feel this event will help cultivate new relationships, perhaps helping project membership expand. We want prospective North Footprint members to truly understand the interactive nature of our community wind project and how we listen and value their concerns and suggestions. However at the end of the day, we just want it to be a fun, relaxing event where people can enjoy themselves!”

Formal invitations will be sent out by the beginning of August to all current and prospective participants. We look forward to seeing you there!
