Lisa Heggedahl is a registered Angus seed stock producer near Hayfield, MN as well as operator and manager of her two family farms that total 440 acres. She, along with her parents, have been strong advocates for the High Country Energy project due in large part to the benefits that come with a community-based project, that allow landowners and community investors to participate in the development of a renewable energy source. For Heggedahl, being a part of this project is realizing her childhood dream of one day having a windmill on the farm. Heggedahl will continue with this ownership opportunity and invest in the C-BED project, whether a windmill is placed on their farm or not.
