Ken Binkley

Ken grew up on a farm in southeast Pennsylvania but now farms land in Minnesota. He also works at the Mower County jail as a chaplain and is very active in his church.

“We had small fields back in Pennsylvania and when I saw the big open spaces in Minnesota, I knew this is where I wanted to farm,” says Binkley. “I think this is a great place to live and raise a family."

“In the 36 years I have lived here I have seen many changes and in the last few years we have come to see windmills,” says Binkley. I think of wind as another crop we can harvest. I am involved in High Country Energy because I believe it is good for us as farmers.”
