Wind energy is one of the largest sources of new power generation in the country, second only to natural gas for two years in a row. Wind offers a clean, limitless, low-cost energy solution for electricity generation. High Country Energy's wind farm alone could provide enough power to generate nearly 87,400 homes and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 750 tons.

Federal policy efforts continue to drive wind developments across the country and in Minnesota. High Country Energy's wind farm will help Minnesota meet the mandate for 25% of its electricity from renewable resources by 2025.

Our company exists to develop and produce wind energy projects which are sustainable, generational and environmentally responsible. The company’s financial commitment is to assure a majority of the economic benefits are shared with the community.
